The Legend of Zorro, starring Antonio Banderas and Catherine Zeta-Jones, was released on January 31, 2006.  In some areas, the film is boxed with the 1998 blockbuster The Mark of Zorro.

In it's first week of release in movie theatres, The Legend of Zorro was #1 in international box office receipts.

Once again starring Antonio Banderas and Catherine Zeta-Jones, The Legend of Zorro begins ten years later as California is poised to join the United States.   Alejandro de la Vega/Zorro and his wife Elana confront challenges in their marriage and with their incorrigible ten-year old son.
